10 Top of the list KISII ARTISTS to watch out for in 2016.

Kisii artists are on the rise and nothing seems to be stopping them. Their quality of music is constantly improving and they seem to be heading in the right direction. They have even gone a notch higher and now they are launching their own music videos right at their hometown. This list contains top ten artists from kisii who seem to be headed for the glory and you sure need to watch them out  this year.

1.Smallz lethal

Born as Jim Nyakundi, smallz lethal is one of the most versatile Hiphop artist from kisii. He hails from nyachwa area of kisii town. He released his album MOGAKA MUSIC   which is one of the albums i could term as

.He directs a monthly hip hop show called Hip hop hook up which takes place in sarakasi dome. Together with some other fellow kisii artists they have an outfit called Kisii Rap Kings. He has a very fluent and witty kisii hiphop flow that will only leave your head shaking. Together with Raj, another top kisii artist they coined a great hit,  ndiziflow   He is in plans of doing music videos for his album and you need to watch him out this year.

2. Rajville

Raj as many know him is one of the fast rising kisii artists who seems to be doing so well lately. After ndiziflow with smallz lethal he came up with another massive hit  OBE BABA which did so well.  He went ahead and remixed OBE BABA with Norway based kenyan female rapper STL. The remix has been doing so well and has placed Raj at a very good position compared to where he was previously. He owns a studio called MUSIC BANK and is said to produce his own songs. He raps in kisii in most of his compositions. He is one artist you need to watch out for in 2016.

3. Miggy

Born Omari Migisi,Miggy has been in the industry for a while but he has maintained his relevance all through.  He made hits like Ligi kubwa which received massive airplay back in the days. He then came up with others like Nyaunyo and  matendechere and currently he has another one known as jidai which is doing so well .  He is multi talented and has been doing side hustles as an Mc in events and ceremonies and also is involved in doing Tv commercials. Currently he is about to launch his video for Nyaunyo and you need to watch him out in 2016.

4. King Menace

Born Dennis Manduku,This guy is new in the game and is one of the most multi talented artists from kisii . He is a Dj ,events Mc, actor and rumours (not confirmed) say he is a teacher. He was previously a student leader in charge of entertainment in kisii university and is said to have played his role well and has a huge following especially of campus and college students .  He is one of the few privileged artists who got the Opportunity of getting a shout out from British international superstar  Lethal Bizzle after he refixed his famous song Fester skank . He titled his song Pesa which lethal Bizzle shared on his instagram and twitter accounts.  it  has received  massive play especially in clubs. Am not aware of any other song he has done but you need to  watch him  out for  in 2016.

5. Falenzy usher

This is one of the fastest rising gospel artists from kisii. Currently signed to Nairobi records, falenzy usher has released good music and quality videos which have now placed him in the level of competing with the top gospel artists in kenya. He was once a groove awards nominee and is well known for his hit  opportunity which received good airplay. Falenzy is currently riding high with his new song wacha itambe which is also receiving good airplay. He is said to be a preacher and has been seen sometimes preaching with Mr T.

  6.kash

Born Ken Omanwa, kash is a hiphop rapper associated with an outfit called Grindhauz and is also said to be a member of kisii rap kings. He has a sizzling hiphop album called K.O.D (Kash on Delivery) which has dope tracks. During the hip hop supremacy battle of who is the hiphop king,kash also released his track which was quite something to listen to. He has a new track ki00 (one hundred) which is doing fine. He is one of the hip hop artists you need to watch out for in 2016.

7. Lilsliq

Born Eric Mainya, Lilsliq is one of the fastest rising talented  artist from kisii. He has a nice delivery on tracks and is currently working with Grandpa records. He was featured in the massive hit fimbo ya tatu which also featured other big artists like sautisol,wyre,kenrazy and visita. He does the Ghipuka kind of music and currently has a new track called Nataka dem. The song talks about the kind of girl he would like to date and has an awesome beat and was produced by visita . Close sources confirmed that the rapper is making arrangements to shoot the video of the song. You should watch out for this talented guy in 2016.

8. Shourtie

Born Sarah Moraa, Shourtie is a very talented female artist with a very sweet voice. She is new in the game and she seems to be receiving massive support.  Last week she launched her first video, Genda in a very well organised and well attended event. She has the kind of voice that is so melodious and she has good song writing skills. She is still very young but very promising.
  She also did  Hello cover(by adele) in a rock version which she performed during her launch. Close sources say she is getting back in the studio to churn out new hits. She  has not disclosed whether she is signed to any record label yet but so far she is working with New home Music.she is one of the artists you should keenly watch out for in 2016.

9.Neimer king

Born Eldon Mandela, Neimer king is a fast rising artist from kisii. He is versatile and seems to do a lot of music genres.some of his tracks include Noon to night,calm ft Duarah,your king ft brax and currently he is riding high with a new track he dropped last week with DNA called OKOTA. The track which was produced at alka pro studios owned by vekta is doing very well and has an awesome video. Neimer is talented and you should expect more good things from him . He is one of the artists to watch out for this year.

10. Babu Gee

Winding up my list is former machachari actor and musician Babu Gee ule msee. Back in the days he brought the  massive hit  ujinga ni into the charts which received massive airplay. It seems acting took him away from music but he is back now with a bang. He does the Ghipuka kind of music and he has a new song called  Tore bobe which he has not officially released yet as he is looking for a big kisii artist to feature according to what close sources say. He has a fluent swahili and kisii rap and you sure should keep your eye on him this 2016.
